The 2022 Nissan Leaf has a different powertrain depending on trim. The S and SV trims sport a 40-kWh battery pack and 110-kW electric motor, reaching up to 149 miles on a single charge. The S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus models have a 62-kWh battery pack and a 160-kW electric motor. The S Plus can go up to 226 miles, while the SV Plus and SL Plus can reach up to 215 miles. Every 2022 Leaf is equipped with a CVT and FWD.
Each 2022 Leaf has numerous connectivity feature. Included on every model is an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, four USB ports, a four-speaker stereo, and voice recognition technology. Other available features include a six-speaker stereo, a seven-speaker Bose stereo, and GPS-linked navigation.
Every 2022 Nissan Leaf model comes with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite. This suite includes forward collision warning, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlights, rear door alert, and a rearview camera.
